About the House

Made slowly. Held close.

OCHRE + CO began with a small batch of soap.

Not a business plan. Not a full collection. Just ten bars, made in a kitchen, while my husband was searching for better soaps for his new barbershop.

I remember waiting impatiently for that first batch to cure. I didn't know exactly what would come from it, only that the process felt thrilling: simple ingredients becoming something useful, beautiful, and deeply personal.

Those ten bars became more batches. More batches became a spare room filled with supplies, labels, curing racks, and ideas. Eventually, OCHRE found its way to the Bradenton Public Market.

What else could this become?

A styled tabletop scene with a dark ornate metal vase holding dried flowers against a warm beige textured backdrop, with additional decorative flowers and leaves partially visible at the edges.
01The House

Built in Bradenton, FL

The first soap was sold here. The first perfume was made here. The shop opened just steps away from where that first bar found its way into someone’s hands.

Without Bradenton, there is no OCHRE.

A breath of fresh air. A calm room. A little secret.

02The Work

A one-woman house, made by hand.

I formulate, blend, pour, label, package, ship, design, test, retest, and overtest. Every product passes through my hands from the first ingredient to the finished piece on the shelf.

Nothing is made just to fill space. Every scent, candle, soap, and small ritual has to earn its place.

Made slowly. Made in small batches. Made to become part of the way you care for yourself.

03What we believe

Softness can still have strength.

Fragrance should feel like a projection of who you are becoming.

A ritual does not have to be elaborate to matter. It can be a perfume you reach for before leaving the house, a candle lit at the end of the day, or a soap that makes the ordinary feel more intentional.

OCHRE is for people who care about what they bring into their daily lives.

For daily rituals, held close.

04The Feeling

Presence without the shouting.

OCHRE was never meant to feel like a traditional fragrance shop. The scents are made to have presence without overwhelming the room.

Close to the skin. Comforting. Romantic. Ritualistic.

A note from the founder

I hope OCHRE finds you at the right moment.

I hope OCHRE gives you the feeling of finding something you did not know you needed.

The kind of thing you buy as a gift, then decide to keep for yourself. The scent that becomes familiar. The candle you replace before it is fully gone. The ritual that turns into a small obsession.

Everything here began with one batch of soap and the question of what else I could make with care.

I am still asking.
